Becky Wilusz is a senior associate with the Great Schools Partnership. She began her work in schools as an English teacher and college counselor in Atlanta, Georgia, and has since been a humanities and English teacher at the high school level in several Massachusetts charter schools. She has also worked as a writing center director, department chair, assistant principal, principal, and curriculum coordinator in two award-winning Boston-area charter schools serving students in grades 7–12. Becky is also a Certified Professional Co-Active Coach (CPCC) and an Associate Certified Coach (ACC). Becky’s professional interests include building equitable schools, change management, literacy across content areas, and classroom instruction. Becky earned a BA in English and American studies from Amherst College and an MAT in secondary English from Brown University before completing coursework in educational leadership through Northeastern University and the Principal Residency Network. She completed her coach training through the Coaches Training Institute (CTI). She lives in the Boston area and spends her free time in search of a good story or a delicious meal. She also spends a fair amount of time on her yoga mat.
